Hungary C/KC-390 Fleet Update

On November 21, 2025, the Hungarian Air Force received its second Embraer C-390 Millennium at Kecskemét Air Base, completing its contracted fleet. This delivery marks Hungary as the first operator to fulfill its total order. The multi-mission aircraft enhances strategic lift, air-to-air refueling, and precision airdrop capabilities. Technically, Hungary’s C-390s are unique for incorporating a modular roll-on/roll-off medical Intensive Care Unit. Since the first unit’s 2024 induction, the platform has maintained a mission completion rate above 99%. The expanded fleet provides the Hungarian Air Force with superior operational performance, increased flexibility, and optimized life-cycle costs for diverse military and humanitarian roles.
