Description
A Russian Air Force Su-34 Fullback fighter-bomber was shot down by a Ukrainian Patriot missile over Zaporizhzhia Oblast at approximately 23:20 local time on February 19. The aircraft, reportedly operating from Armavir airbase, was engaged in launching KAB glide-bombs targeting the Tersyanka area when it was intercepted. The wreckage fell near the occupied settlement of Kamianka. Pro-Russian Telegram channels, including Fighterbomber and AviVector, acknowledged the loss, with indications that both crew members were killed. The shootdown was part of an intensified Ukrainian air defense campaign that claimed 13 Russian fixed-wing aircraft in February 2026.
