Description
Al Mansurah Air Base is an Egyptian Air Force installation located in the Dakahlia Governorate. Established in 1985, the facility is owned by the Egyptian Ministry of Defense and has remained in active service since its construction.
The base hosts the 139 Air Division's 308 Close Air Support Tactical Wing. This wing consists of No. 57 Squadron and No. 58 Squadron. These units operate Dassault/Dornier Alpha Jet MS1/2 aircraft to fulfill close air support roles.
