Hami Yizhou Airport, also known as Kumul Airport, is located 12.5 kilometers northeast of the city of Hami in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China. The airport was first constructed in 1934 and subsequently served as a military airport. In 2008, it underwent expansion. Currently, Hami Yizhou Airport operates for mixed military and public use, serving both civilian and military aviation needs.
