Description
Hwangju Airport is a military installation located near Hwangju in the Hwanghae-bukto province of North Korea. Sited in a valley, the facility hosts a fighter regiment. Infrastructure at the site consists of multiple supporting taxiways and three aprons adjoining the runway. The base operates a regiment of MiG-19 aircraft.
