Description
Tanagra Air Base is located in Boeotia, Greece, north of Athens and southeast of Thiva. The installation has functioned as a station for the Hellenic Air Force since 1956, serving as the base for the 114th Combat Wing.
The facility is operated by the Hellenic Air Force and continues to host the 114th Combat Wing. Infrastructure at the site includes production and maintenance facilities for the Hellenic Aerospace Industry, which has been established at the location since 1975. The base houses squadrons of fighter aircraft, including F-16s.
