Description
The VAHAN is an assault rifle of Soviet/Armenian origin, designed by engineer and firearms designer Vahan S. Manasian. The weapon's origins can be traced back to the MBC-2 prototype developed in 1952, when Manasian was serving in the Soviet Army. As of 2009, the VAHAN rifle had not been tested by the Armenian government, and the program was subsequently canceled.
The VAHAN can accommodate accessories such as a GP-30 grenade launcher, a bayonet, and a scope.
