Description
Captured by Russian forces at Berdyansk on 26 February 2022, the first day the port fell. Pryluky was undergoing refit and was non-operational at the time of seizure. The sole remaining Matka-class hydrofoil missile boat in Ukrainian service, she had been laid down in 1980 and transferred to Ukraine after the 1997 Black Sea Fleet partition treaty. Russian forces captured approximately a dozen Ukrainian vessels at Berdyansk, pressing several into service for port security duties.
