Description
Sunk on 7 May 2022 during Ukrainian counterattacks against Russian-held Snake Island. Russia claimed destruction by military aircraft; Ukrainian media confirmed the loss in November 2022. Stanislav was the lead ship of the Centaur (Kentavr) class, launched in 2018 as a successor to the Gyurza-M series. At 47 tonnes with water jet propulsion capable of 50 knots, the fast assault craft was designed to land a platoon of 32 infantry for beach assaults. Her loss left only the second hull, Malyn, in service.
