Description
Commissioned on 21 December 2024 in a flag-raising ceremony at Kaspiysk Naval Base on the Caspian Sea. Built at the Zelenodolsk shipyard on the Volga River, Tucha was transported through the Volga-Don Canal to reach the Black Sea as a replacement for the destroyed Askold corvette. The Project 22800 Karakurt class has a displacement of 870 tonnes, a length of 67 metres, and carries eight launchers for Kalibr cruise missiles, Oniks anti-ship missiles, and the maritime Pantsir air defence system. Tucha is crewed by 39 sailors.
