China Jiangkai III Fleet Update

Lead ship of the Type 054B class, commissioned on 22 January 2025 at Qingdao Naval Base and assigned to the North Sea Fleet. The Type 054B represents a significant leap over the Type 054A, featuring a new integrated mast with phased-array radar, a stealthier hull design, and improved anti-submarine warfare capabilities. At approximately 5,400 tonnes, the class is armed with HQ-16 surface-to-air missiles, YJ-83 anti-ship missiles, and a 76mm main gun. Luohe is the first Chinese frigate to incorporate an integrated electric propulsion system.
