Description
Commissioned on 29 May 2025 and assigned to the North Sea Fleet, Cangzhou carries pennant number 125. The destroyer is part of the sustained Type 052D production effort at Jiangnan Shipyard and Dalian Shipyard that has made the class the most numerous modern destroyer in any navy. At 7,500 tonnes full load, the Type 052D features the Type 346A active phased-array radar, a 130mm main gun, and 64 universal vertical launch cells. Cangzhou's North Sea Fleet assignment strengthens the fleet covering the Yellow Sea and Bohai Gulf.
