Description
Commissioned in December 2025, with the event publicly disclosed in February 2026 through Chinese state media. Ganzi carries pennant number 128 and is equipped with an upgraded AESA radar and improved command systems, consistent with the Type 052DM subvariant. The delayed announcement follows a pattern of batch disclosures for PLAN surface combatants. Ganzi's commissioning brought the total Type 052D/DM fleet closer to 35 units, cementing the class as the world's most produced modern destroyer design.
