Description
Confirmed in active service on 8 March 2026, shown conducting joint training with sister ship Dongguan in CCTV footage. Anqing is the tenth Type 055 (Renhai-class) destroyer and the second to be assigned to the Eastern Theater Command. With hull number 110, she brings the operational Type 055 fleet to ten vessels, completing the first production batch. The assignment of two Type 055s to the ETC marks a significant expansion of advanced destroyer capability near Taiwan.
