Description
Sunk at Konarak Naval Base by U.S. strikes on 1 March 2026, confirmed by satellite imagery showing the corvette down at her berth. Built in 1963 by Levingston Shipbuilding in Orange, Texas, and transferred to Iran under the U.S. Mutual Assistance Program. Bayandor was one of the oldest active warships in any navy worldwide, having survived the Iran-Iraq War and multiple refits including the addition of Noor anti-ship missiles in 2013.
