Overview
Taiwan, officially known as the Republic of China (ROC), maintains its own armed forces, known as the "Republic of China Armed Forces." - ROC Navy (中華民國海軍): The ROC Navy focuses on maritime defense and security, operating various vessels, including frigates, submarines, patrol boats, and amphibious ships, to protect Taiwan's extensive coastline in the Taiwan Strait and the surrounding seas.
