Ukraine F-16AM Fleet Update

Norway has significantly expanded its military assistance to the Ukrainian Air Force, delivering 14 F-16AM multirole fighter jets in 2024. This total, disclosed in a arms transfer report, more than doubles the previously announced commitment of six aircraft. The F-16AM platforms are intended to modernize Ukraine’s aerial fleet and bolster air defense against intensified missile and drone strikes. Alongside the aircraft, Norway’s 2024 transfers included 20 Dingo 2 mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) vehicles and three NM189 armored engineering vehicles.
