Lithuania C-390 Fleet Update

On June 18, 2025, at the Paris Air Show, the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence officially selected the Embraer C-390 Millennium to modernize the Lithuanian Air Force’s transport fleet. The procurement involves an order of three aircraft, designated to enhance the force's operational readiness and ensure seamless interoperability with NATO allies. Following a rigorous technical evaluation, the C-390 was identified as the superior platform for meeting national military requirements. This acquisition establishes Lithuania as the eighth European nation to adopt the multi-mission aircraft, underscoring its role as a preferred solution for tactical airlift and logistics within the region.
