Description
On 18 June 2025, at the Paris Air Show, the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence announced the selection of the Embraer C-390 Millennium to replace the Lithuanian Air Force’s C-27J Spartan transports, with a plan covering three aircraft. No contract followed: in January 2026 the ministry postponed the purchase to around 2030 and decided to keep the modernised C-27J fleet in service until 2036, LRT reported.
