Description
An Israeli strike destroyed an Iranian Air Force F-5E Tiger II on the ground at Dezful Airport in Khuzestan province, southwestern Iran. The IDF published footage confirming the destruction of the aircraft. Dezful, located near the Iraqi border, hosts Iranian tactical aircraft and has been used as a forward operating base. The F-5E Tiger II is one of the most numerous types in Iran's aging fleet, with dozens still nominally in service despite limited operational readiness.
