Description
On October 9, 2025, the Egyptian Air Force (EAF) expanded its combat fleet with the delivery of three additional Dassault Rafale F3R fighters. This transfer, part of a 2021 agreement for 30 aircraft, included two single-seat EM variants (EM10, EM11) and one twin-seat DM variant (DM21). This delivery increases the EAF’s active Rafale inventory by three units while reducing the remaining order backlog by the same amount. These F3R-standard aircraft supplement the initial 24 units ordered in 2015. Dassault expects to complete the remaining deliveries by 2026, eventually bringing Egypt’s total Rafale fleet to 54 multirole fighters.
