Description
Two Italian Air Force personnel from the 70th Wing were killed during a training mission when their aircraft crashed near Sabaudia, south of Rome. The accident involved a single-engine T-260B trainer based at Latina Air Base. The aircraft went down in a forested area within Circeo National Park, approximately 100 kilometers from the capital. Emergency teams discovered the wreckage engulfed in flames and confirmed the fatalities of both crew members on board. Military authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the crash, which remains unidentified. The incident occurred during a routine training exercise.
