Description
On November 28, 2025, the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) officially accepted the first three Dassault Rafale F4 fighters during a ceremony at the Mérignac facility in France. These twin-seat aircraft (serial numbers T-0301, T-0302, and T-0303) represent the initial delivery of a 42-unit order, which includes 30 single-seat and 12 twin-seat variants. This milestone increases Indonesia’s active fleet by three aircraft while reducing the remaining order backlog accordingly. The induction process involves rigorous technical inspections of avionics and armament systems, supported by ongoing pilot and technician training in France to ensure operational readiness before the January 2026 ferry flight.
