Ukraine F-16 Fleet Update

Following the official decommissioning of the F-16 fleet in Denmark on January 18, 2026, the final batch of 13 pledged aircraft was transferred to the Ukrainian Air Force. This completes the Danish commitment of 19 F-16 Fighting Falcons to Ukraine. These aircraft are intended to replace losses and expand the Ukrainian Air Force’s ability to conduct multi-role operations and defend its airspace. The delivery was coordinated with the arrival of F-35s in Denmark and intensive pilot training programs in Europe and the United States.
