Description
A Russian Air Force Ka-52 Alligator attack helicopter was shot down along the line of contact in Donetsk Oblast on March 21, marking the second Ka-52 lost within 24 hours after another was downed by a Ukrainian FPV drone near Pokrovsk the previous day. The helicopter commander was killed while the co-pilot survived, reportedly by activating the Ka-52's ejection system. The cause has not been officially disclosed by the Russian military, though Ukrainian forces were actively engaging Russian helicopters in the area with FPV drones.
