Description
A Qatar Emiri Air Force NH90 helicopter crashed into Qatar's territorial waters on March 22, during a training exercise conducted under the Qatar-Turkey Combined Joint Force Command. All seven personnel aboard were killed, including four Qatari Armed Forces members, one Turkish military officer, and two civilian technicians from Turkish defense company ASELSAN. The Qatari Ministry of Defense attributed the crash to a technical malfunction during routine flight operations. The Qatari and Turkish governments launched a joint investigation into the exact cause.
