Description
Budyonnovsk is an air base operated by the Russian Aerospace Forces, located 14 km southeast of the town of Budyonnovsk in Stavropol Krai, Russia. It is part of the 4th Air and Air Defence Forces Army, Southern Military District, and is owned by the Ministry of Defence. The air base is home to the 368th Assault Aviation Regiment, which operates two squadrons of Sukhoi Su-25 SM/SM3 aircraft, and the 487th Independent Combat Control Helicopter Regiment. The 368th Assault Aviation Regiment was deployed to Millerovo air base as part of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. The air base has one concrete runway oriented 12/30.
