Description
Ciudad Pemex Air Force Base (BAM-16) is a military installation located in Ciudad Pemex, Macuspana, Tabasco, Mexico. It began operations as an air base on December 1, 1995, following the transition of the Tenosique Airfield into Military Air Station No. 10.
The base is the permanent headquarters of the 109th Air Squadron, which operates Cessna 182 aircraft. Personnel at the installation include a general, a chief, 16 officers, and 70 troops. Staff responsibilities encompass air traffic control, aviation weaponry, meteorology, aerology, and the provision of flight equipment. Infrastructure at the facility includes an apron and a hangar.
