Description
Koksan Airport is a military airfield located near Koksan in Hwanghae-bukto, North Korea. The facility is situated in proximity to several other aviation sites, including Koksan South Highway Strip 1, Koksan South Highway Strip 2, Pyonsul Li, and Wongyo Ri.
The base hosts a fighter regiment operating MiG-21 jets. Infrastructure at the airfield includes a full-length parallel taxiway and two aprons located at the runway ends. A separate taxiway leads southwest from the primary facilities to dispersed aircraft stands.
