Description
Korenovsk is an air base of the Russian Aerospace Forces located near Korenovsk, Krasnodar Krai, Russia. The base is owned by the Ministry of Defence and operated by the Russian Aerospace Forces, controlled by the 4th Air and Air Defence Forces Army. It is currently active and serves as the home for the 55th Independent Helicopter Regiment. The air base features one runway, 08/26, which has a concrete surface. As of 2024, satellite imagery indicated that runway 08/26 was extended to 2.60 km.
