Description

Kwail Airport is a military airfield located in Kwail, Hwanghae-namdo, North Korea. The facility hosts a fighter regiment operating MiG-21 jets. Infrastructure at the site consists of a concrete runway and a full-length parallel taxiway with aprons at each end. A taxiway extends 1.7 km to the south of the main airfield to connect the runway to dispersed and underground aircraft shelters.
