Łask Air Base

32nd Air Base, also known as Łask Air Base, is a Polish Air Force installation situated near Łask, approximately 30 kilometers south-west of Łódź, Poland. The Ministry of Defence owns the site, and the Polish Air Force operates it. The airfield was constructed in 1957, and the current base unit, which combines infrastructure and ground personnel, was established in 2001. There were historical considerations for civilian airliner use, but these plans were abandoned due to the expansion of Łódź Władysław Reymont Airport.

Łask Air Base is one of two bases in Poland where the nation's F-16 fighter aircraft are stationed. Nine F-16s were initially moved to the base in October 2008, with a goal of housing 16 fighters operated by the 10th Tactical Squadron. Since November 2012, a detachment of the US Air Force has been permanently based at Łask, with additional units rotating periodically for training exercises. This US force is considered nuclear-capable and has participated in NATO nuclear exercises. The base features one paved runway, designated 10/28, measuring 3,000 meters in length.
