Description

Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport is located in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico, one kilometer north of Marina Vallarta. Named after President Gustavo Díaz Ordaz, the facility is operated by Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico.

The airport houses Air Force Station No. 5 (Estación Aérea Militar N.º 5, Campo Militar N.º 41-A). No active squadrons are currently assigned to the station, which contains facilities for Mexican Air Force personnel.

Military infrastructure is positioned north of the runway and consists of a 5,400-square-meter aviation platform and one hangar. Civil aviation infrastructure includes a two-story terminal building. Concourse A operates five gates for domestic traffic, while Concourse B is a satellite building with 15 gates for international operations. The commercial apron provides 12 parking positions at the terminal and eight remote positions. General aviation facilities include a dedicated terminal, an apron with fixed-wing stands, and heliports. The airport also supports cargo, courier, and logistics operations through specialized hangars and facilities.
