Description
Nal Air Force Station, also known as Bikaner Air Force Station, is a dual-use facility serving as an Indian Air Force Station and a domestic airport for Bikaner, Rajasthan, India. Located at Nal, 13 km west of the city, the airfield was built and became operationally ready for the Indian Air Force by 1964. A civil enclave within the air force station, operated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI), was inaugurated on June 29, 2014, with regular scheduled flights commencing in 2017. The Indian Air Force has deployed the first squadron of the indigenous HAL Tejas MK.1A (No.3 IAF) at this base.
