Description

Naliya Air Force Station is a military air base operated by the Indian Air Force (IAF), located in Naliya, Gujarat, India. It is situated approximately 90 km from Sir Creek, which borders Pakistan, and also about 90 km from Bhuj. The air base lies on National Highway 41. Historically, it was home to No. 101 Squadron IAF, which relocated in May 2024. The base was upgraded to the 49th Wing in 2009. As of September 2024, No. 18 Squadron IAF, equipped with the indigenous HAL Tejas aircraft, is stationed at this base, having been relocated there prior to Exercise Tarang Shakti. The air base features one concrete runway, designated 06/24.
