Tikhoretsk Air Base

Tikhoretsk is an air base of the Russian Aerospace Forces located near Tikhoretsk, Krasnodar Krai, Russia. It is owned by the Ministry of Defence and operated by the Russian Aerospace Forces. The base is currently home to the 627th Training Aviation Regiment, which operates the Aero L-39C Albatros aircraft as part of the Krasnodar Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots. On September 21, 2024, the air base experienced fires following a Ukrainian drone attack, which also impacted a nearby GRAU arsenal.
