Description
Third Félix Éboué-class overseas patrol vessel (POM), delivered to the French Navy at Port-des-Galets, La Réunion, on 25 August 2025 after a two-month transit from Brittany. Formally admitted to active service on 17 October 2025 by the Chief of Naval Staff. Displacing 1,300 tonnes with hybrid electric propulsion, the vessel supports maritime patrol, fisheries enforcement, and counter-narcotics missions in the Southern Indian Ocean Zone (FAZSOI). Named after a Réunion-born Compagnon de la Libération.
