Description
Avenger-class mine countermeasures ship decommissioned at Mina Salman Port in Manama, Bahrain, on 24 September 2025. Commissioned in 1989, Sentry served for over 36 years in forward-deployed operations with the U.S. 5th Fleet. She was among the last Avenger-class ships operating from Bahrain, where the class had maintained a continuous presence since 2012.
