Description
Second Bâtiment Ravitailleur de Forces (BRF) logistic support ship, delivered at Toulon on 27 November 2025 during a ceremony presided over by Vice Admiral Christophe Cluzel. At 194 metres and 31,000 tonnes fully loaded, the vessel carries 13,000 cubic metres of fuel and supplies with four refuelling stations enabling simultaneous replenishment of two ships. Named after an Alsatian naval engineer and Resistance member who died in deportation. The BRF programme will deliver four ships to replace the Durance-class tankers.
