Description
Destroyed by Israeli airstrikes at the port of Bandar Anzali on the evening of 18 March 2026, during the first IDF strikes on Iran's Caspian Sea fleet. Joshan was a Sina-class fast attack craft assigned to the Northern Fleet. Commissioned in 2006, she had participated in the first Iranian naval voyage up the Volga to Astrakhan in 2013, and later joined exercises alongside Russian vessels. The strike on Bandar Anzali targeted the key maritime trade route between Iran and Russia, used to transfer drones and munitions since the 2022 Ukraine invasion.
