Description
A Russian Air Force Su-30SM fighter jet crashed during a routine training flight over occupied Crimea on April 3, marking the fourth Russian military aircraft loss in four days. The aircraft experienced an engine explosion at approximately 11 a.m. Moscow time, forcing both the pilot and weapons systems officer to eject. A search-and-rescue team located and recovered both crew members, who were uninjured. The Russian Defense Ministry did not officially disclose the cause of the crash. Ukraine's Navy denied any involvement, suggesting the loss was due to a mechanical malfunction within Russia's own systems.
