Description
King Fahd Air Base is a Royal Saudi Air Force facility located in Taif, Mecca Province, Saudi Arabia. Owned by the Ministry of Defense, the installation hosts multiple wings of the Royal Saudi Air Force.
RSAF 2 Wing is stationed at the base and operates Eurofighter Typhoon F2 and T3 aircraft across No. 3, No. 10, and No. 80 Squadrons. RSAF 10 Wing also operates from the facility, utilizing F-15C and F-15D Eagle aircraft under No. 5 and No. 34 Squadrons, while No. 94 Squadron operates the F-15SA.
Rotary-wing assets are managed by RSAF 9 Wing. This wing operates AB412EP and Bell 412EP helicopters through No. 14, No. 33, and No. 44 Squadrons.
