Description
Syzran is an air base of the Russian Aerospace Forces located near Syzran, Samara Oblast, Russia. It is owned by the Ministry of Defence and operated by the Russian Aerospace Forces. The base is currently active and serves as the home for the 484th Training Helicopter Regiment, which operates Mil Mi-24 helicopters. This regiment is part of the Prof. N.E. Zhukovsky and Iu.A. Gagarin Air Force Academy. The air base features one runway, designated 08/26, with a concrete surface.
