Description
The KGK (Kanatlı Güdüm Kiti) is a wing-assisted guidance kit developed to convert unguided bombs into fire-and-forget munitions.
The system is compatible with Mark 82 and Mark 83 general-purpose bombs. It employs Global Positioning System (GPS) and Inertial Navigation System (INS) guidance. The kit incorporates a wing assembly with large folding wings that deploy post-release. This configuration allows for an extended glide range, distinguishing the system from guidance kits that utilize flap-out fins.
The system is in service with the Turkish Air Force. It is integrated on the F-16 Fighting Falcon and other combat aircraft.
