Hellenic Air Force M-346 Delivered

The first two M-346 advanced jet trainers for the Hellenic Air Force arrived at Kalamata Air Base, opening a ten-aircraft programme run with Elbit Systems that established a new international flight-training centre in Greece. The pair carried the first Greek serials and were handed over at the base that hosts the service's training wing. The M-346 replaces the ageing T-2 Buckeye in the advanced and lead-in fighter training role, giving Greek and allied student pilots a modern fly-by-wire platform with embedded simulation before they convert to front-line fighters.
