Polish Air Force FA-50GF/PL Delivered

Two further FA-50GF light combat aircraft built by Korea Aerospace Industries arrived at Warsaw Okecie for the Polish Air Force, taking deliveries to eight of the twelve aircraft in the first tranche, all of which were due in Poland by the end of the year. The jets are being fielded by the 23rd Tactical Air Base at Minsk Mazowiecki, replacing part of the MiG-29 fleet drawn down by donations to Ukraine. They precede a larger order for 36 FA-50PL aircraft in a Polish-specific configuration, scheduled for delivery from 2025.
