Description
A Russian Air Force Il-76 crashed near Ivanovo during takeoff for a scheduled flight. Russia’s Defence Ministry said one engine caught fire as the aircraft climbed and said eight crew and seven passengers were aboard. Regional authorities reported no survivors. Video showed the burning aircraft descending before impact, and investigators opened an aviation-safety inquiry.
