Croatian Air Force Bayraktar TB2 Ordered

Croatia's defence minister signed a contract with Baykar's chief executive on 21 November 2024 for a Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aircraft system comprising six armed aircraft, a command and control centre, a training simulator and electro-optical sensors. The Ministry of Defence put the value at €67.01 million excluding VAT and said the aircraft would be in operational use by the end of September 2025. The minister said the system would be used for combat, reconnaissance and data gathering, and could also support border surveillance and firefighting for other state bodies. The aircraft arrived in Croatia in the summer of 2025.
