Royal Moroccan Air Force DA42 Crash

A Royal Moroccan Air Force DA42 twin-engined training aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff from Benslimane air base, north-east of Casablanca, at about 10:00 local time during a training and qualification flight. The General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces said the two officers on board, a senior instructor and a trainee officer, were killed, and that a commission of inquiry had been set up to determine the cause, according to Morocco World News and Yabiladi. Benslimane hosts the Royal Air Force's flying school, where the DA42 serves as a multi-engine trainer.
