Kenya Air Force Bayraktar TB2 Delivered

Kenya received at least six Bayraktar TB2 drones from Turkey in late 2024, Military Africa reported on 31 December 2024, publishing a photograph of the aircraft in a hangar with the Kenyan flag on their tail surfaces. The delivery followed the graduation of Kenyan operators from Baykar's flight training centre at Keşan, announced by the company on 23 August 2024. Kenya joined a growing list of African TB2 operators that includes Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Togo, Niger, Morocco, Nigeria and Mali. The country already flew smaller ScanEagle and Raven drones and three Anka-S aircraft.
